Oatly Ice Cream

I love ice cream, and when I went dairy-free, ice cream was one of the hardest things to give up – especially my fave mint chip. These days, I’m so grateful that there are many delicious dairy free options available at grocery stores. Today I’m reviewing Oatly’s ice cream – the fudge brownie and mint chip flavors.

The brownie bits in Oatly’s ice cream are gluten-free (!) and are made of oat flour, which is incredible. It’s been rare in my experience to find vegan ice cream with mix-ins (like cookie and brownie pieces) that are gluten free. The chocolate is not the best I’ve had – it could be richer and more decadent, but it hits the spot if you’re looking for a chocolate brownie combo. I would rate this 7/10.

This mint chip ice cream is my favorite among the dairy free brands – it’s uncolored with its natural, white hue and has a refreshing mint flavor. The texture is very light and creamy. I honestly can’t tell the difference between this and regular mint chocolate chip ice cream. 10/10.

You can find Oatly ice cream at Star Market, Shaw’s, and Market Basket. Information about their various flavors and ingredients are available on their website.
